To put it simply, Coach Sue is your educator bestie! She's always there to support and guide you, helping you deepen and expand your pedagogical knowledge. Whether you need assistance with elaborating on an observation, such as a learning story, critically reflecting on your program, evaluating yourself as an educator, or reviewing a current centre policy, she is your go-to person! Essentially, Coach Sue is built into all our features across LoveHeart.
Another advantage of Coach Sue is that she doesn't count towards your monthly requests. This allows you to gain unlimited and invaluable insights from her! Isn't that amazing?!

Here's one way you can locate and utilise her:
On the left-hand side of your screen click on "Coaching"
2. Next click on the "+" button on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.
3. A new document will pop up for you to go ahead and ask Coach Sue anything! There are three ways you can communicate with Coach Sue:
Clicking on the composer to start writing.
Using the "Microphone" icon to record your voice.
Uploading photos or images. Coach Sue will extract and analyse your photo to help build on the context you need support with. Note: The photos must be either PNG or JPG files.
Tip: Coaching sessions are private by default (indicated by a yellow background). If you'd like to make a session visible to your team, simply click on the eye icon. The background will turn white, indicating that the session is now viewable by your team.
4. Here are some examples that can be directed towards Coach Sue, along with insights into how she can assist you. Remarkably, all conversations during the coaching sessions are also saved. This is not only convenient but serves as an excellent source of documentation and evidence to accumulate!
How to use Coach Sue with Observations i.e. Learning Stories
You can also seek support from Coach Sue by embarking on learning journeys, such as making observations and learning stories. Here's how to go about it:
First, create a learning journey. Click on the "Coach Sue" button.
2. A message box will appear, prompting you to provide additional details or seek further support based on your observations of the child. Coach Sue will be there every step of the way! Tip: This is great for Educators who are currently in Training. All Coaching sessions are private by default (indicated by a yellow background). If you'd like to make a session visible to your team, simply click on the eye icon. The background will turn white, indicating that the session is now viewable by your team.
3. Click the "Paper Clip" at the top right corner of the Coaching Session box to attach the coaching session to the "Jottings/notes" of your Observation.
