How to add new curriculum areas?

Here is how to add new curriculum areas:

Please note, this feature is only available to the role of "Managers" and "Owner".

One way you can add curriculum areas is:

  1. Select the room or group you have created

  2. Click "Show profile"

  3. Head to "Curriculum areas" and select "No sections selected"

  4. A dropdown box will appear. Start to type in your new curriculum area you would like to create

  5. Once you have finished typing in your title select "Create area"

  6. A new Curriculum Area has now been created

7. When it's time to start creating a plan you will notice a "+" button, go ahead and select it.

8. Click "No section selected"

9. A dropdown box will appear ready for you to select the area and add to your plan.

10. To edit the context and resources of your curriculum areas select the "three dots" located next to the title.

11. Select underneath "Context, Resources, Focus and Goals" Ready for you to type in ideas and specific details on this area of learning. Please note: There is a 200 character count.

12. Once finished select "Save"

The fantastic thing about Curriculum Areas is that you can edit them however you want and whenever you want!

You can also create Curriculum Areas this way too!

  1. When creating a New Curriculum Plan there will be a "+" icon ready for you to add exisiting Curriculum Areas you have created or if you would like to create a new Curriculum Area.

  2. Next select the "No Section selected..." button

  3. A dropdown box will appear ready for you to select which Curriculum Area you would like to add to your plan

  4. Or if you would like to create a new Curriculum Area simply type in the area you would like to add and click "Create area".

  5. Next click "Link" to add the new area to your plan

  6. If you wish to unlink your Curriculum Areas in your plan. Simply click the "Three dots" next to the Curriculum Area.

  7. A dropdown box will appear, ready for you to "Unlink" the Curriculum Area from your plan.
