Here is how easy it is to create a Learning Plan in a Journey in LoveHeart

  1. Create Your Learning Story: Once you've created your learning story, i.e., observation, you'll notice that LoveHeart has generated three follow-up options or "where to go from here" suggestions, each with different ideas or activities to further support the child.

  2. Choose Your Follow-Up: Scroll to the bottom of your screen where you'll find Coach Sue. Click on Coach Sue and simply click on the follow-up that best suits what you would like to work on with the child next.

  3. Request a Learning Plan: After selecting a follow-up, a message box will appear providing an overview of the follow-up and asking if you'd like LoveHeart to create a plan based on your selection. Choose "Create" to proceed.

  4. Generating your Learning Plan: LoveHeart will now begin generating a learning plan or activity tailored to the chosen follow-up. This will be places in the child's learning journey under No journey stage. Simply drag and drop into the stage for planning.

  5. Learning Plan has been created: A learning plan is now ready for you to implement with the child!

  6. Quick tip: To support you with better workflow you can now add your Learning Plans from Journeys into the Curriculum. Simply select "+ Add to Curriculum in list view format.

  7. Select which Group i.e. Room and the Curriculum Plan you would like the Learning Plan to go into

  8. Once selected it will be highlighted and indicate which Curriculum Plan it has been added to.

โ€‹Side Note: While we provide follow-up suggestions, we encourage educators and teachers to exercise their professional judgment. You're not obligated to use LoveHeart's suggestions; feel free to create your own and make edits as needed.

And that is how you create a Learning Plan here on LoveHeart!
