How to bulk add children?
Updated over 6 months ago

This feature is perfect for services and larger organisations with multiple children to easily bulk add into LoveHeart.

Please note: The role of an "Owner" can only do this.

Here is how to do it:

  1. Select "+ New Child" located on the right-hand side of your screen

  2. Click "Bulk Import"

  3. Before uploading a file. Ensure you have created a spreadsheet that contains the names and date of births of the children you want to import. Please keep in mind it needs to be downloaded into a csv file only.

  4. Here is an example on how to create a spreadsheet file. Two columns have been created with "Child's First Name" and "Date of Birth" go ahead and list off your children and date of birth in your service.

  5. Once you have finished this click on "File" located at the top left side of your document

  6. A dropdown box will appear, navigate and find download and select "separated values" (.csv)

  7. Once you have downloaded it will be saved on your desktop i.e. laptop

  8. This is an example of what the file will look like

  9. Head back to LoveHeart and upload the file that you created

  10. Once the file has uploaded successfully on LoveHeart click "Next" at the bottom right corner of your screen.

  11. Next map the fields from your csv to fields required

  12. Under Child's Name select "Child's First Name"

  13. Under Date of Birth select "Date of Birth"

  14. Click "Next"

  15. LoveHeart will now indicate that all records are valid. You have the option to edit the names or date of birth as needed. Otherwise, click "Next"

  16. Next it will confirm your import along with how many records you will exporting. Once you're happy click "Next"

  17. Records will now be successfully imported. Click "Done" to take you back to the home page.

  18. You will then see a list of all the children you have imported and organised into Individual Profiles.

You are all set to go! Ready to start creating documentation!
