Creating Summative Assessments in a Child's Journey on LoveHeart
Updated over a week ago

LoveHeart offers a seamless way to create summative assessments by using the learning documents already within a child's Journey. This feature is perfect for reflecting and evaluating a cycle of planning at the end of a period. Here’s how you can make the most of this option!

It's important to note: Currently, all features including summative assessments are available to all plans created after 26 June 2024. We are looking at bringing this to accounts created before that date in the upcoming months.

  1. Selecting a child's profile

  1. Choose a child's Journey (Please note there must be observations i.e documentation within the Journey)

  2. Choose Story Type by selecting the blue button

  3. Click on "Summative Assessment" and select "Done"

  4. Once you have selected "Summative Assessment" It has automatically attached all of your documentation within this Journey into your message composer. Go ahead and click the "Blue Arrow" to send off.

A Summative Assessment has now been magically created based on your documentation about the child within the Journey.

Creating summative assessments from a child’s Journey on LoveHeart is a powerful way to reflect on and evaluate a cycle of planning. By using existing learning documents, you can ensure your assessments are thorough and tailored to each child’s unique progress.
