We’ve introduced an exciting new feature that makes it easier than ever to track and monitor each child’s journey through the stages of their cycle of planning. This simple, easy-to-view format helps your centre stay on top of compliance, ensuring no child’s learning journey is missed or overdue. With this feature, you can quickly identify any children that need attention and ensure every child’s learning and development is on track.
Key Features of the Monitoring Tool
The new feature provides a clear overview of the status of each child’s journey, showing whether any stages of the planning cycle are missing, overdue, or still in progress. This helps your centre stay organised and compliant with early childhood standards.
Children Missing a Journeys: Easily see if any child is missing a journey. If a journey has not yet been started for a child, the system will highlight this, ensuring that no child is overlooked in the planning process.
Overdue Journeys: The system also tracks overdue journeys, flagging those where a journey should have been completed but haven’t yet. This helps you prioritise and focus on children whose journeys need immediate attention.
Journey Stages Remaining: You can also track whether any stages within a journey are incomplete. This helps you identify where additional learning documentation is needed to complete the planning cycle for each child.
How to Use the Overview Feature
Access the Overview: From the main dashboard, navigate to the Home
View Children: This overview allows you to quickly see:
Missing journeys
Overdue journeys
Journeys with remaining stages
Click for Details: Click on the arrow to get the overview of which child requires attention. From here, you can dive into the specific Journey or create a new one.
Focusing on Key Children
If your want to get an overview of the progress of key children, you can filter the overview to see insights just for those key children. This makes it even easier to stay focused on the children who need the most attention.
By providing an easy way to track each child's learning journey, your centre can ensure that every stage of the cycle of planning is documented, up-to-date, and reflective of each child’s development, helping your centre stay compliant with the National Quality Standards.
