Jotting is a great way to record an observation using text, image, or voice and then craft a narrative from those entries later on.

Utilising jottings is an effective method to gather and note down various details about a child over time. This allows you to consolidate the collected information into a cohesive learning story.

Here is how to find Jottings and create one!

  1. Click the "+" button at the bottom right corner

  2. Select the blue "story" button

  3. Select "Jottings and click "Done"

  4. In the message bar/box type in or use the microphone icon to record your observation and jottings

  5. Once finished with your jotting select the "Blue Arrow" to send

  6. A jotting note will now be created

  7. You can go ahead and create more jottings under this file

  8. You can also add images which allows LoveHeart to analyse more information for you.

  9. Or select one of the exisiting jottings to continue to add more notes

  10. Once you are ready to use your jottings. Select the jottings you want to add and click "Add to story"

    Side note: You can also translate your jottings using the "Magic Actions" button.

  11. Once you have done that you will noticed your jottings will be uploaded. Once you have selected your chosen jottings click the "Blue Arrow" to send off to create a Learning Story, Diary Entry or Letter.

  12. Side note: Simply remove the jotting by click "Remove from the story" if you do not want to add this jotting to the story.
